HWBMx8, 2015 (w/ Haseeb Ahmed)
Virtual Based sculpture. Programmed through Unreal Engine 4 software.

Experience the work here.

HWBMx8 is a virtual sculpture. It takes as its starting point the virtualization of a fragment made of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's exterior. Scaled up in size, it approximates a grotto, cave or small architectural structure in itself. Our handprints adorn the interior walls and the ground is made of documentation images from the preceding version of the project, HWBMx7.

The work dynamically interacts with the viewer by coinciding its lighting conditions based on the physical location of the viewer.

An interview about the project can be found here.
